Dr. Lidzoe Correa obtained her medical degree in 2004 from Iberoamerican University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Dr. Correa knew she wanted to be a doctor since she was a little girl. Seeing her grandparents being treated and cared for by their physicians was a pivotal moment in her life. She realized that her calling was in medicine, where she could care for others and help them live healthy lives.

For Dr. Correa, practicing medicine is incredibly personal and her greatest satisfaction is to see her patients’ appreciation for the level of personalized and professional care that she provides. In her spare time, Dr. Correa loves to read, compose poetry and sing, and believes in using her aptitudes in these areas to be a better physician, connecting with her patients through music and art.

Dr. Correa believes in giving back, supporting a variety of charitable causes especially in the area of cancer care.
